Hey everyone!!

 

My name is Tre Moore. I am a student out at the International House of Prayer. There are two sections in our school, the Music Academy (FMA) and the Ministry School (FSM). I am in the Forerunner School of Ministry. I believe that the Lord has gifted me musically but I think that I need a foundation Biblically. We are all called to know God’s word, it should be our foundation. As much as I might want to learn about music I need to get the Bible knowledge.

God is good all the time. He really has met me and began captivating my heart. My testimony is interesting because I have always been raised in a Christian home but I am still in the process of knowing the Lord for myself. There were times when I felt like Jesus was my best friend and then seasons where I was blinded. Early on in highschool I felt the Lord speaking to me and through me often and that was happening when I came back the from STI (The Kansas City Summer Teen Internship). As highschool went on I completely lost my quite time life. Misty Edwards song, “Light of Your Face” had a big quote that hit me. She says, “Life takes place behind the face.” It is so true. In highschool I was outwardly “radical” but inwardly empty. Jesus continually persued my heart and over the past summer he once again captured it.

Throughout my first semester of FSM I have learned so much about who Jesus is and the love that he has for me. He really drew me away with Him. I went through classes on the End-Times, Song of Solomon, Prayer (Intercession), and a class on who Jesus is.

During this second semester I am being tenderized and I am waking up more and more to the things that God has for me. I had a vision of me looking at this long race track and I felt there was no way I was going to make it all the way and then Jesus came up next to me and opened a box with running shoes and he said, “I will provide the needs to run this race!”  Now I need to embrace this call that he has provided. God is good and he will guide us.

“For I have plans for you,” says the Lord, “Plans for hope and a future.”
